Welcome to The Inclusive Policy Digest (“we,” “us,” or “our”), published on Substack (“the Platform”). By accessing or using The Inclusive Policy Digest Substack publication (the “Publication”), subscribing to our content, or participating in our community, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Publication.

Your continued use after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2.2. By using our Publication, you represent and warrant that you meet all legal requirements to form a binding contract.

3.1. Free Subscription: As a free subscriber, you will receive certain articles, newsletters, or other content designated by us at our discretion.

3.3. Founding Membership: If you opt for a Founding Membership, you gain access to special features or benefits. The pricing and benefits of the Founding Membership tier may also be subject to change.
3.4. Billing: Payment processing is handled by Substack or its third-party providers. By subscribing, you agree to the payment terms and policies of Substack or any applicable third-party payment processor.
3.5. Refunds: Refund requests are handled in accordance with Substack’s refund policies. We make no representations regarding the outcome of any refund request.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

4.1. Ownership: All content published in the Publication, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, and multimedia (“Content”), is owned by or licensed to us.
4.2. License to Subscribers: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the Content for personal, non-commercial purposes.
4.3. User-Generated Content: If you submit comments, feedback, or other material (“User Content”), you retain your rights to that content. However, by submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your User Content in connection with our Publication.

5. User Conduct

5.1. You agree not to use the Publication for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose, including but not limited to:

  • Harassing, threatening, or defaming any individual or entity.

  • Posting offensive or discriminatory content based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or other protected categories.

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or the accounts of other users.

  • Engaging in any activity that disrupts or damages the Publication or Substack’s services.

5.2. We reserve the right to remove or block any User Content or user account that violates these Terms or that we otherwise consider harmful, offensive, or inappropriate.

6.2. No Guarantees: We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the Content.

7. Limitation of Liability

8.1. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Inclusive Policy Digest and its owner(s), agents, and affiliates from and against any losses, damages, liabilities, claims, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Publication or violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

9.1. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including your breach of these Terms.
9.2. Upon termination, your right to access the Publication ceases immediately. If applicable, refund matters will be handled in accordance with Substack’s policies.

10. Governing Law

10.1. These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
